This site is the result: an independent directory that compares shea butters on verifiable facts — origin country, refined vs. unrefined, certifications that actually name a certifier, and real price per ounce — because the shea market runs thick with claims like "Premium Grade A Organic" that mean far less than they sound like they mean.

How the data is compiled

Every product page is built from the seller's own listings and brand documentation. We record a certification only when a certifier is shown (USDA Organic, Ecocert, Fair for Life, Leaping Bunny). Where an important fact is missing — no origin country, no certificate behind an "organic" name — the page says "not stated" instead of repeating the claim. Prices are typical US retail at the time of the last update and get refreshed periodically.
